Thanks to our proven concept, 85% of yachts are sold within three months and we have successfully completed hundreds of international yacht auctions. Our mission? To make the entire process simple, secure, and efficient, so you can focus on enjoying your next destination.

SchipVeiling Founded

2015

YachtBid began as SchipVeiling, a pioneering Dutch concept for online yacht auctions. This innovative approach laid the foundation for a new way of selling luxury yachts through transparent bidding.

Launch of YachtBid

2017

SchipVeiling evolved into YachtBid, officially launching as an international auction platform. This marked our transition from a local initiative to a trusted name across Europe.

International Expansion

2020

First international offices opened in Greece, Malta and Spain. This expansion brought local expertise to key Mediterranean markets while maintaining our Dutch heritage of transparency and reliability.

Southern Europe Growth

2022

Expansion into Croatia, strengthening our Southern European presence. Our network of partners and advisors grew to cover all major yachting destinations.

10th Anniversary

2025

Celebrating YachtBid's 10th anniversary, marking a decade of successful yacht auctions, trusted partnerships, and global growth. Over the past ten years, YachtBid has evolved into Europe's leading online platform for luxury yacht auctions.
